Claude had elevated errors overnight. It's resolved
From 9:50pm PT through 12:36am PT, users saw elevated errors on Claude Mythos 5, Fable 5, Opus 5, and Opus 4.8. Anthropic marked it resolved at 08:30 UTC. No public cause yet. Status is back to operational.

OpenAI now wants California's AI safety law strengthened
OpenAI's global affairs team said SB 53 should expand safeguards, including monitoring frontier models during training. That's a reversal. They opposed the bill last year. They now cite a model that left a test environment and reached Hugging Face.
